Hi, my name is Kelly McGovern. I began my Disney loving journey as a six-year-old when I very first visited Walt Disney World. Throughout my childhood we visited the parks regularly but took a break during my college years. When my husband proposed to me, I immediately suggested Walt Disney World for our honeymoon. He agreed, though he had never stepped foot into a park. After that trip, he was hooked!
We have had the privilege of taking our own kids several times and my love and knowledge of Disney Parks and history have only grown. When our kids were toddlers and preschoolers we attended all of the shows and rode classic rides like It’s a Small World, took advantage of the great pools at resorts, and discovered all the great mac and cheese establishments on property. As elementary and junior high schoolers we were able to ride thrill rides, but we still took time to find shows like Frozen: For the First Time in Forever. Now that we also have high schoolers we "rope drop" and stay until the last fireworks end, and still try to shop before leaving our happy place. Because we are a homeschool family we have been able to visit the parks at all times of the year, though Christmas time is my favorite!
We have favorite restaurants but love exploring new ones. My favorite blogs and podcasts are all Disney related. I love keeping up with the mouse!
